The Spartan is a monthly publication created by the communications class at the La Cañada High School. All the stories in the publication reflect the opinion of each individual writer. The Spartan reports the events that occur on our campus and around the community.  We hope to be a voice for the students and staff at LCHS.

The communications class is supervised by an adviser, Ben Powers. The course strives to teach the importance of journalistic writing and instill critical thinking abilities to be able to judge the reliability and credibility of news reports.

The Spartan newsroom is located in room 203 at 4463 Oak Grove Drive, La Cañada Flintridge, California, 91011.
