2014 was a pretty crazy year. From award shows to movie releases, from new albums to tragic losses. The year went by fast, but had many memorable moments. March 2, 2014: The Oscars-hosted by Ellen Degeneres
-The second time, award winning comedian, Ellen Degeneres hosted the Oscars, and did an amazing job. Let’s not forget her “Selfie of the Year” with celebrities like Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence.
June 6, 2014: The Fault in Our Stars came out
-The film that made everyone bawl, from watching Hazel Grace and Augustus fall in love to watching them go on fun filled adventures.
August 11, 2014: Robin William’s death
-Featured in Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, and many other heartwarming films. This tragedy made many realize the world had lost a star, both literally and metaphorically.
September 18,2014: Emma Watson delivered an address at the UN headquarters, launching her “HeForShe” campaign
-The Harry Potter star amazed everyone with her speaking skills, and opened their eyes about gender equality. She does not only have great acting skills, but also knows how to deliver an important message.
October 27, 2014: Taylor swift album release
-TSwizzle, yet again wowed millions with her fifth album. 1989 consists of songs today’s generation can relate to. She also surprised fans with the announcement of her 1989 World Tour.
